Simon is a co-founder of Shorewood Homes and, with a degree in Civil Engineering, his expertise is in production and land. He has been responsible for the construction of many high-quality developments in the south, building beautiful homes for well-known housebuilders for the last 18 years. Tenacious and driven, Simon is a problem-solver by nature who will work tirelessly to achieve the goal. Local to Winchester, he very much enjoys the diverse gastronomic scene at the weekend.
Richard is a co-founder of Shorewood Homes and his expertise is in land and planning. As a University of Reading graduate in Real Estate, he went on to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor whilst working in the development and land team of a global estate agency before forming Shorewood Homes. Calm and thorough, Richard has an eye for the detail, whether contractual, design or anything in-between. Away from the office he can either be found at home on the south coast or, when possible, weekending in a tucked away country hotel.
Having gained a first-class honours degree in Construction Management, Tom combines his academic knowledge with excellent experience in the industry, having been working in a similar capacity for some very reputable firms in Winchester since 2010. His attention to detail and calm, amiable nature equip him very well to deal with the daily challenges of building superlative houses.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Tim has been in the building industry since 1996, where he held a number of senior roles including Finance Director and Managing Director for several prestigious housebuilding companies. Residing in Waterlooville, in his free time Tim is an avid rugby supporter.
TECHNICAL MANAGER AND BUYER
With over 20 years in the building industry, Luke has previously worked for some prestigious local and national housebuilders. His multifaceted knowledge of the industry has seen his career take him from site management to technical manager and Luke therefore is very much involved in every development, from inception to completion. In any free time, Luke enjoys the tranquillity of fishing and golf!
Charlie’s degree in Property Development led to his career to date working for a major housebuilder with contract values up to £30m. He has a very thorough, methodical approach to his work and remains positive and fair at all times.
SALES AND MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR
Louise’s experience of the property industry comes from spending the last 16 years in administrative and marketing capacities for a range of companies incorporating a global estate agent, a media planning & buying agency and esteemed housebuilders both national and local. Involved now in the operational function of Shorewood Homes, as well as sales and marketing, Louise is fully engaging her organisational abilities and attention to detail and enjoys nothing more than taking a red pen to a floor plan!
Following a career change, Lynn obtained her CIMA qualification in 2008 and subsequently worked for both Trans Ocean Distribution and Carnival UK before moving to Shorewood Homes in 2019, where she is responsible for book-keeping, payroll and management accounts. Lynn is always willing to go the extra mile to help out in the business wherever possible, further increasing her knowledge of the building industry.
DESIGN AND BRAND MANAGER
Having learnt her craft through a degree in Graphic Design, Emma’s expertise is in graphic and website design. She is responsible for the creation and delivery of the Shorewood Homes branding including, of course, our website.
With a degree in Interior Design & Decoration, Lucy spent five years working in the interior design industry before starting her own business nearly two years ago. Living and working in Winchester, Lucy partners with Shorewood Homes on each new development and is involved in specification and technical details from the very beginning of the design process, as well as being responsible for the design and implementation of any show homes. Her strong attention to detail and creative yet practical nature, coupled with her friendly, approachable persona, make Lucy ideally suited to her role.
Jason is an experienced construction site manager with over 20 years in the industry. He has an excellent track record of delivering a high-quality finish on projects ranging in value from £1m through to £9m.
With a first-class degree in Business Management, Max obtained some useful work experience in the building industry and consequently decided to develop his career in land buying. His approachable nature and organised, focused manner stand him in good stead to source new development opportunities for the business. A Winchester local, Max enjoys various sporting pursuits in his free time, including the gym, golf and tennis.
Having been in construction since 1984, Anthony has mainly worked in heavy civils for companies such as Bachy Soletanche and Cementation Skanska, where he was a chargehand working on some of Europe’s largest projects including DP World’s Container Port, Crossrail Link and the Northern Line extension. Anthony has undertaken many heavy plant operation courses and is a very calm and easy-going team player.
